Both Speaking on an aspect of Habitat for Humanity of Wichita Falls

Habitat for Humanity of Wichita Falls was founded in 1992 and has built over 100 homes in the Wichita Falls area. Our mission is to build decent, affordable homes giving families a safe and warm place to live while eliminating poverty housing in our community.  To live out our mission, we have several fundraising events throughout the year including the Stud Build, Corporate Challenge, Golf Fore Habitat Golf Tournament, and even our Thanksgiving mailout but our most successful fundraiser is our Habitat ReStore.  The ReStore is open to the public and sells donated construction items such as cabinets, doors, furniture, home decor, plumbing supplies, tools, windows, and paint at a low price.  Many times, the ReStore may have a particular item that is no longer available in big box stores. The profits from The ReStore support Habitat building in Wichita Falls and surrounding areas.

Will Goodner

I was born and raised in Burkburnett, graduated a Bulldog and from MSU.  I married the Burkburnett Homecoming Queen and have three wonderful children, two girls and one boy.  I have worked for Habitat for Humanity for four years in May.  Just after starting at Habitat, I joined the Rotary Club of WF Downtown.  In my spare time I enjoy Coaching my kid’s soccer teams, cooking, walking my 3 dogs, and listening to music.

I was raised in Crowell, TX, and attended UT and MSU. I’m soon to be remarried with 3 children and attend Colonial Church. I worked in education for 10 years and have been with Habitat for Humanity for 2 months. I’m passionate about nonprofit success and have been deeply involved in nonprofits and volunteerism since 2012. I have assisted with countless fundraising efforts including Cattle Barons and am a member of the Junior League of Wichita Falls. I started LSED, a nonprofit that works with the child welfare system and serve on numerous committees within our community.
