Providing safe, reliable and affordable electric service in today's deregulated market
Gordon is a Wichita Falls native and began his career with Texas Electric Service Co., now (“Oncor”) thirty-eight years ago. He is currently the West Region Customer Operations Executive, “Area Manager” responsible for 16 Cities and 12 Counties within Oncor’s North Texas Service Territory. He serves as the strategic point of contact for city and county governments, local and state elected officials and area community leaders.
He also manages complex issues and dialogue related to Tariffs and Regulatory Filings, City Ordinances and Agreements, State Legislation, educating and communicating the benefits of the deregulated market, safety, construction activities and vegetation management for providing safe, reliable and affordable electric service.
His passion for Wichita Falls and area community service includes: Currently Sheppard Military Affairs Committee Member, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Martin Luther King Scholarship Committee Member, Chair of the Advisory Board of Vernon College Information & Technology Automation Program, North Texas Home Builders Association Member and MSU President’s Excellent Circle Member. He’s served as past Executive Board member of Leadership Wichita Falls, Loaned Executive for North Texas Area United Way, Gold Coat Ambassador for the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Advisory Board Member for the Northwest Texas Council Boy Scouts of America. Area community memberships and support also include the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce, Burkburnett Chamber of Commerce, Graham Chamber of Commerce, Henrietta & Clay County Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Park Chamber of Commerce, Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce, as well as supporting many of the area Nonprofits.
Gordon and his wife, LeAnn of 32 years have one son, a beautiful daughter-in-law and three precious grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.
