Dwayne Jackson along with his wife Lisa and their family purchased the Wichita Theatre property in March of 1995 to bring live family entertainment to Wichita Falls. Through the first 10 years the Jacksons tried many different things including concerts, Branson style country music show, and broadway shows. Beginning in June of 2006, they began their current focus on full time Broadway show productions. In April, 2018, the Jackson’s opened the Stage 2 dinner theatre across the street from the main theatre. With the Christmas show of this past year, the Jackson’s have opened and closed 200 productions which have included over 2000 performances since 2006.
