AJ Lewis with the Burkburnett Independent School District received an award of appreciation for his hard work on the Buddy Bench.
The Buddy Bench program is an initiative to promote friendship and combat loneliness at the elementary schools.
Also at our May 23rd meeting, Kristina Pindell, Director of Burkburnett Chamber of Commerce provided an excellent presentation. Kristina talked about the importance of community and being involved.
