Jerry Johnson was the Rotarian of the Day. Jerry brought his camera equipment and showed us how it works. He also gave us a great presentation on the fine points of photography. We learned about f stops and shutter speed, and how these affect the picture quality. He explained how film is rated in ISO numbers, and how the amount of light is measured to ensure good pictures. He also explained the rule of thirds, showing us how when taking pictures of people, their eyes should be in the upper third of the frame. Lahoma's picture of Jerry shows that she was listening! Thanks Jerry!
