Burkburnett Rotary Club hosts a Celebration of a Century of Service at the Overton Elementary School Cafeteria.

The night was filled with so many who’s dedication and love are shown all throughout our community. Everyone from Rotarians, city council members, Providence Baptist Church choir, to Yellow Rose Sertomans, and everyone with a heart to serve others.
Mayor, Lori Kemp read the declaration naming this day, November 2nd as the official 100th year of the Burkburnett Rotary Club.

In attendance we also met our very first woman Rotarian president. The 1989 Council on Legislation voted to admit women into Rotary clubs worldwide and remains a watershed moment in the history of Rotary. https://www.rotary.org/en/history-women-rotary
