OUR CAMP RYLA EXPERIENCE:
Carlie Ash is a Junior at Burkburnett High School and is is active in many clubs and organizations at school including Student 2 Student, PAL’s, Theatre, Golf, Cheer, FFA, and Student Council as an officer. Outside of school she is a member of Junior Forum and serves on the board as the communications officer.
Alice Gaylor is a Junior at Burkburnett High School and is active in many clubs and organizations at school including Student 2 Student, Golf, FFA as an officer and a Livestock Showmen in FFA.
Alice's Family Group "The Apes" best memory was a skit they put on that really brought them closer together.
Both groups learned skills to engage with one another and better communicate.
There was an etiquette dinner they both enjoyed, learning the what to and not to do's during a professional meeting.
This years service project: Stephenville park!
They reconstructed the sprinkler systems that were broken, as well as redoing the flowerbeds.
"We can't wait to go next year and hope to be counselors next year"
